Course Description

Financial Services Ethics ImageThe course is for people who specifically want to work as debt collectors, process servers and/or repossession agents. You will learn about working in the financial services industry, technology in the workplace, OHS aspects of the workplace, how to resolve disputes, prepare reports and more specifically undertake the tasks and techniques involved in locating subjects. You will also learn how to effectively collect debts, serve legal process and repossess goods and property.

Employability Skills

On successful completion of this course the student would have developed skills in developing and writing reports for management, negotiate resolutions and resolving disputes, persuasive telephone techniques, applying investigative skills to collect information and applying principles of professional practice.

With this course the student could work as a debt collector, commercial / mercantile agent, process server or repossessions officer. With some additional training opportunities may exist as and investigator, private inquiries agent, surveillance worker or a skip tracer.
